  I’m Jessica — the “J” in MJ Paperie — and I’m 8 months away from walking down the aisle so I will CHEERS for both of us! Champagne all around! But seriously, we’re so excited to share our ideas and observations and insights with you as we tie the knot, have children, entertain, cook and clean, and mostly just live our everyday lives. Hopefully you will laugh, cry and most of all — relate!

  I consider myself a west-coast-meets-east-coast kind of girl having grown up between the pacific northwest of Portland, Oregon and the desert southwest of Tempe, Arizona before heading 2,000 miles away to the Midwest for college at the University of Notre Dame. I’ve spent the past 10 years back and forth between New York City and the Midwest. I love the style and flair of the big city but I spend most of my time in jeans and flip flops.

  My fiancé Dave is a Notre Dame grad as well but we didn’t start dating until years after college. We’re planning a “destination” wedding next May only the destination is my hometown. I am in the midst of choosing colors, flowers, themes and vendors. So many things to consider!! I’m most excited to design our paper suite — it always sets the tone and mood of a whole event and brings together all the wedding elements cohesively. I’ve got so many ideas floating around in my head — bringing them together will be an exciting challenge! With our save-the-date window quickly approaching — I’ll have to figure it out soon! Stay tuned for all the wedding excitement!
